Terms of Service

By using the Vamoa service (including the Vamoa website, mobile phone client application, text messaging service, and instant messaging service) or accessing any information obtained from the Vamoa service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service

  1. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Vamoa service.
  2. You agree to the use of your data in accordance with the Vamoa Privacy Policy.
  3. You agree that you are responsible for your conduct and content while using the Vamoa service and for any consequences thereof. You agree to use the service only for purposes that are legal, authorized, proper and in accordance with these Additional Terms and any applicable policies or guidelines.
  4. The Vamoa service makes it possible to post messages hosted on the service to outside websites. This use is accepted (and even encouraged!). However, pages on other websites which display data hosted on the Service must provide a link back to the relevant Vamoa website.
  5. You can use the service free of charge. You will, however, be responsible for any data charges, phone charges, or text messaging charges assessed by your carrier or internet service provider.
  6. You understand that we are continuously developing the features and the functionality of the Vamoa service. Consequently, we also reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. You agree that such alteration shall be effective upon posting on the Vamoa website and you will be bound to any alterations when you use the Service after such alteration is posted. It is therefore important that you review these Terms of Service regularly to ensure you are updated regarding any alterations. Your sole remedy should you not agree with the altered Terms of Service shall be to close your account and to cease using the service.

Mobile Terms and Conditions

If you use Vamoa text messaging services, also note the following:

Vamoa does not charge to receive text message alerts, but standard text messaging charges apply. Check your text messaging plan with your carrier. Account holder approves charges will appear on cell bill or deducted from prepaid balance. For help, text HELP to 82662 or email support@vamoa.com. To stop receiving text messages at any time, text STOP to 82662.

Your may opt in to SMS updates by:

  1. Signing up on the Web at Vamoa.com

    • Create your free account on Vamoa.com
    • Turn on SMS notifications from Settings
    • A confirmation SMS is sent to your phone
  2. Signing up by SMS from your mobile phone

    • Text "follow name" to Vamoa with your mobile (where "name" is the username of a registered Vamoa member)
    • A confirmation SMS is sent to your phone

You may opt out of SMS Updates:

  1. on the Web:

    • All SMS updates may be disabled from the Web at Vamoa.com
  2. by SMS:

    • Disable all SMS updates by texting any of the following words to Vamoa: "stop, off, end, quit, cancel, unsubscribe"
    • Disable SMS updates from a specific Vamoa member or channel by texting "leave name" to Vamoa (where "name" is the screen name of a registered Vamoa member or channel)
    • To delete your Vamoa account text "delete me" to Vamoa
